Terms & Conditions

1. Quotations

• All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Quotations are based on the information available at the time of survey.
• Any additional work requested after the quotation has been accepted will be charged separately and agreed with the customer before work proceeds.
• Prices include only the works detailed within the quotation.

2. Deposits & Payments

• The deposit required will vary depending on the size and nature of the project.
• The required deposit will be clearly stated on your quotation.
• Larger projects may require staged payments, which will also be detailed within the quotation.
• The remaining balance is due immediately upon practical completion of the works unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd reserves the right to suspend works if agreed payments are not made when due.

3. Start Dates & Completion

All start dates and completion times are estimates only.

Whilst every effort is made to meet agreed timescales, delays may occur due to:

• Severe weather
• Material shortages
• Supplier delays
• Ground conditions
• Circumstances beyond our control

Customers will be kept informed of any changes.

4. Site Access

The customer agrees to provide:

• Safe access to the property.
• Suitable access for machinery and delivery vehicles.
• Access to water and electricity where reasonably required.
• Parking where possible.

Any delays caused by restricted access may affect the project schedule.

5. Excavation & Ground Conditions

Our quotations are based upon normal ground conditions.

During excavation we may uncover:

• Tree roots
• Old foundations
• Buried concrete
• Soft ground
• Existing drainage issues
• Underground obstructions
• Unmarked utility services

Should additional work be required to achieve a suitable installation, the customer will be informed before any extra work is carried out.

6. Underground Services

Whilst every care is taken during excavation, Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd cannot accept responsibility for damage to underground pipes, drains, cables or services that have not been identified, marked or disclosed prior to work commencing.

7. Materials

Natural products including sandstone, granite, timber and other natural materials may vary in:

• Colour
• Texture
• Pattern
• Shade

These natural variations are not considered defects.

Manufactured products may also have slight colour variations between batches.

8. Resin Bound Installations

Where quoted, resin bound driveways are installed using:

• Geotextile membrane
• Type 3 permeable sub-base
• Approved resin binder
• UV stable resin
• Approved aggregate
• Reinforcement mesh where required

Resin installations include a 20-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee against material failure when installed on a suitable base.

Minor colour changes through weathering are normal.

9. Block Paving Installations

Following installation:

• Kiln dried sand may settle naturally.
• Additional jointing sand may be required after several weeks.
• Minor movement while the driveway beds in is normal.

10. Drainage

Where drainage channels, soakaways or permeable systems are installed, they are designed to suit the agreed specification and normal weather conditions.

We cannot be held responsible for flooding caused by:

• Existing drainage failures.
• Blocked drains.
• Extreme weather events.
• Groundwater conditions.
• Drainage systems outside our installation.

11. Waste Removal

Unless otherwise agreed, all waste generated from our works will be removed from site and disposed of responsibly.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Keeping vehicles off newly installed surfaces until advised.
• Following any aftercare guidance provided.
• Maintaining the installation appropriately.
• Reporting any issues promptly.

13. Guarantees

Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd provides:

• 10-Year Workmanship Guarantee on driveway and landscaping installations.
• 20-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee on resin bound systems where applicable.
• Manufacturer warranties on supplied products where applicable.

Guarantees do not cover:

• Vehicle oil or fuel stains.
• Chemical damage.
• Damage caused by third parties.
• Ground movement beyond our control.
• Tree root damage.
• Lack of maintenance.
• Pressure washing damage.
• Accidental damage.
• Acts of nature or extreme weather.

14. Cancellations

If work is cancelled after materials have been ordered or work has commenced, the customer will be responsible for any costs already incurred.

Deposits may be non-refundable where materials have been purchased or labour has been allocated.

15. Complaints

Any concerns should be reported in writing within 7 days of completion.

Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd will inspect any genuine workmanship issues and rectify defects covered under our guarantee within a reasonable timescale.

16. Ownership of Materials

All materials supplied remain the property of Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd until payment has been made in full.

17. Photography

We reserve the right to photograph completed work for use on our website, social media and marketing materials. No personal information will be published without the customer’s consent.

18. Force Majeure

Revive Driveways & Landscaping Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, supplier delays, strikes, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.

19. Acceptance

Acceptance of our quotation confirms that the customer has read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
